The Spaceship Ensemble, founded in The Hague in 2018, is an innovative contemporary music group. We are a diverse and explorative collective that brings a creative spark to the current music scene. The combination of our diverse backgrounds and instrumental expertise forms the core of our commitment to creating high-level music enriched with cultural and scientific themes.
What sets The Spaceship Ensemble apart is our unique acoustic instrumentation, complemented by the regular use of synthesizers and custom-made electromechanical instruments. This combination produces an original sound, offering listeners a fresh contemporary music experience. Starting from 2023, the ensemble functions under the Spaceship Ensemble Foundation.
